I am a patron of the Lauren Currie Twilight Foundation, set up to fund research into vasculitis, a rare and devastating disease. Find out more here

In previous years I have been known to strap on my rollerblades and skate a marathon round the Goodwood Motor Circuit.

And I was brave/foolish enough to attempt the Moonwalk, which is an overnight marathon (without the wheels and in my bra) around Auld Reekie. A huge thanks to everyone who got me round the 26 miles, and apart from my big toe nail falling off a few months later it was an amazing experience! I even managed to do my 13th Race for Life in Battersea Park a few days later, though I was a little bit stiff…
